Abstract
The article describes the design and principle of operation of a new multipurpose apparatus with a system generating travelling magnetic fields. This apparatus was developed in order to utilize the methods that use devices with magnetic systems from neodymium-iron-boron alloy to create rotating magnetic fields, as well as to increase the zone of magnetic forces effect on treated material. Owing to travelling magnetic fields, magnetite particles in host rock are selectively joined into mechanically strong floccules and formed floccules are strengthened with regard to mechanical effects. Current processes rates are increased owing to magnetic field components variation by magnitude and direction, realized in operation of the described multipurpose apparatus.
